SrLaAlO4 substrate

SrLaAlO4 crystal is a promising substrate material for high Tc superconducting film and other oxide films to replace SrTiO3 crystal with better quality and lower cost. SrLaAlO4 crystal has an excellent lattice match with high-temperature superconductor Yttrium Barium Copper Oxide and other perovskite structure superconductors, which makes it advantageous for growing high Tc superconducting films. Compared with other perovskite crystals, SrLaAlO4 has lower thermal expansion coefficients, therefore it can be used to grow films at a lower temperature, improving the lattice mismatch and reducing stress.
