LiInSe2 Crystal has wide spectral transparency range and high birefringence, enables it to achieve frequency doubling of all widely used mid-infrared lasers. The advantage of LiInSe2 crystal is that it can generate a mid-infrared parametric optical oscillator through the radiation of near-infrared solid-state lasers (especially Nd:YAG lasers), and its efficiency is more than double that of AgGaS2 and LiInSe2 crystals used. 3.5-4.8 μm and 7-12 μm tunable output can achieved by LiInSe2-OPA.
