Cr,Tm,Ho:YAG is a laser material which emits radiation at 2100 nm. CTH:YAG can be pumped by a flash lamp or with laser diodes. It is widely used in military, medicine, and meteorology. It can work at room temperature, has high slope efficiency, and operates at a wavelength where the threshold for eye damage is relatively high. Main diode pump band is at 785 nm but it can also be pumped between 400 and 800 nm.
