Applications: Fiber Coupling, endoscopy, bar code scanning, ball performs for aspheric lenses and sensor applications;
Ball lenses are glass spheres commonly used in fiber optic applications. Ideal for focusing light into fibers as well as fiber coupling. The LaSFN9 ball lenses provides a shorter back focal length, which simplifies fiber coupling.

Rod Lenses are polished on the circumference and ground on both ends. Optical performance is similar to a cylinder lens. Collimated light passing through the diameter of the rod will be focused into a line. All dimensions are in mm. Variations in polished/ground surfaces, are available to OEM customers upon request.
