Introduction:
Quartz glass tube is made of SiO2 in special industrial technology, it is a kind
of basis material with excellent physical and chemical performance。

 

Properties:
1. High temperature resistance, Good thermal stability
Quartz glass of softening point temperature of about 1730°C, can be used for a long time under 1100°C, a short period of time the highest temperature can reach 1450°C。
2. Corrosion resistance
Except hydrofluoric acid, quartz glass has no chemical reaction with other
acids materials, the acid capacity is 30 times of the ceramic, 150 times of
stainless steel, especially at high temperature, the chemical stability is
unmatched by any other engineering materials。
3. High light transmission
Quartz glass has good transmission from UV to IR spectrum, over 90%
transmit at vision, especially at UV spectrum, it can reach more than 80%。
4. Good electrical insulating property
Quartz glass of resistance value is equivalent to ten thousand times of
common glass, it is an excellent electric insulation material with good
performance even under high temperature。

 

Applications:
Quartz tube is used for laser grade light source, radiation grade light source,
electric light source, semiconductor materials, fiber optical communication etc.,
